EXECUTIVE & LEADERSHIP COACHING
By integrating client focus with systemic understanding, my work supports new and established leaders to achieve sustainable results that work for them, their team and the wider organisation.
I focus on both the practical issues and challenges of the leader’s day-to-day role but also on possibility, growth and change.
The coaching work provides a safe, creative and supportive space away from the day-to-day pressures so clients can reflect and think and move forward. My coaching approach looks at both external and internal factors influencing leadership and performance potential and my goal is always for my clients to get the best from themselves in terms of potential and performance and remain true to themselves.
This helps leaders enhance their positive impact through managing their key relationships, building consensus around their ideas and plans, understanding the impact of change and developing strategies to work through resistance to change.
It supports clients to find their own style of effective leadership - a way of being that will support them in dealing with the core challenge of leadership - understanding what makes people tick and how to get the best from them and for them, while delivering on organisational objectives.
My clients gain fresh insights, perspectives and approaches which they can apply with their own teams so that the benefits of coaching are sustainable over the long term and the benefits are shared in their teams.
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE - ASSESSMENTS AND COACHING
EQ is a set of emotional and social skills that have been shown to play a key role in determining success in both personal and professional life. Specific components of EQ have been linked to behaviours associated with leadership effectiveness.
The ECR and ECR 360 reports are designed to assist professionals to understand their signature strengths and development opportunities as they relate to EQ. EQ is a core element of any process of personal and professional development and performance enhancement.
Integrating the ECR and ECR 360 into a leadership development coaching process allows important stakeholders to contribute their views to the coaching agenda, gives the client valuable insights about how they are perceived in their organisation and enables the client to implement actionable strategies to build and practice their EQ skills.
TEAM COACHING
Team coaching is about supporting teams to work better together and can help new and established teams to refresh and reboot.
Each team coaching assignment starts with a conversation about the team with the team. About the kind of team it would like to be. From there I work to support the team and its people to look afresh at their roles, relationships and processes and develop new approaches.
